A residential CBSE school with more than 500 students had a website that told parents nothing they needed. Admissions ran on phone calls to the office. The prospectus was a printed booklet. Entrance exam registration was a form collected by hand. The public disclosure CBSE requires was a folder in a cupboard.

The school wanted one place where a prospective parent could learn about the campus, register for the entrance exam, download the prospectus and fee structure, and see notices and results without calling anyone.

We spent the first days in the school office rather than at a keyboard, watching how enquiries, admissions and notices actually moved. That shaped the information architecture more than any wireframe would have.

The site went live with an admissions portal and entrance exam registration, prospectus and fee structure downloads, the full CBSE mandatory public disclosure, academic resources such as syllabus, exam schedules, the annual calendar and results, a photo gallery, news and events, and a parent login. It is built in Next.js, server-rendered so it loads fast on the phones parents in Rohtak actually use, and hosted by us.

It has been extended every admissions season since: new forms, new disclosure documents, scholarship information, and the switch to the school’s ERP for parent login.

Sitting in that office is where StriveBit ERP came from. The fee registers, the attendance sheets and the parent phone calls were the real problem, and the website was only the visible part of it. We built the ERP to replace all of it, and Gurukul Vishwabharti became its first school.

Measured over the school’s first two terms on the ERP: 40% less time on admin work, 95% of parents using the branded parent app, and fee collection 25% faster.
